About Us

Ticane

Alongside Noom Café, Ticane was originally Marcel Kociolek's (also known as Marcel Mind and Marc Seekey) second Chillout / Downtempo music project.

Due to existing contracts with his record label at the time and in order to release new albums, compilation tracks and remixes in the Chillout genre, another music project named Ticane was founded in 2014.

Ticane’s debut album, "Horizon," was released in 2016 on the 4MPO label. Naoki Kenji contributed a remix of the track "Deep Sea Diver" to the album.
All subsequent releases, including the second album "Black Coffee" (2018), were issued by Chilled Beats Records.
In 2019, "Horizon" was also re-released by Chilled Beats.
Ticane's third and final Chillout / Downtempo album "Interlude" was released on Rotor Music in 2026.

Various remixes for different bands and artists were also released under this project name.

Since 2024, Ticane has served as the project name for a rotating line-up of vocalists involved in Dance-Pop and House Music productions. For Marcel Mind, among others.
